Libertyville, IL, September 5, 2012—Book by December 31, 2012 and get huge Early Bird savings on TourCrafters’ 2013 12-day/11-night luxury cruise and land package to the Amalfi Coast, Southern Italy, Sicily and Malta.
The fun starts with a private transfer along the breathtaking Amalfi Drive from the Naples airport to the Salerno harbor, where passengers board the 223-foot, 36 cabin, super yacht Variety Voyager. The price of the whole package depends on the yacht cabin class selected. For a C class cabin in June and September 2013, the price is $4,809 per person (the Early Bird price for the second person is $3,313 giving a saving of $1,496 per couple). Cabin classes B, A and P—as well as the owner’s suite—cost more, providing even greater savings. Prices are slightly lower for October 2013.
Included in the price are a pampering 8-day cruise with accommodations in double or twin cabins; daily American breakfasts, lunches, dinners and Captain’s dinner; a welcome cocktail and continuous coffee, tea and mineral water; use of fishing and snorkeling equipment; and a multilingual cruise escort. Also provided are a transfer from Salerno to Amalfi; four nights accommodation at the 4-star Hotel Luna Convento, which overlooks the sea in Amalfi; four buffet breakfasts; a cooking class with lunch and wine in the fishing village of Cetara; a private tour with tasting of the Great Red Wines of Campania; and a private transfer from the hotel to Naples airport.
Among the ports visited are the fashionable island of Capri; the largest of the Aeolian Islands, Lipari; the charming Sicilian resort of Taormina with its view of Mount Etna; the historic city of Syracusa; the island of Malta and its capital Valletta, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; back to Sicily and the Valley of the Temples at Agrigento and Cefalu with its Norman cathedral. On the way back to Salerno and the hotel portion of the package, the yacht passes the famous island of Stromboli and its continuously active volcano.
Not included in the price are transatlantic air, beverages not specifically mentioned, shore excursions during the cruise, gratuities, port charges and city tax, which must be paid directly to the hotel in euros.
