LOS CABOS WELCOMES NEW HOTEL PROPERTIES, LUXURY BRANDS AND FIVE-STAR DEVELOPMENTS IN 2013 & BEYOND

Los Cabos, Mexico (November 6, 2012) - Home to some of the world's most luxurious hotels and resorts, Los Cabos is pleased to announce the opening of a new boutique property that will join the impressive roster of existing resorts in the destination as well several new developments scheduled to open within the next two to three years.

Located just five minutes from the historic, charming town of San José del Cabo, El Ganzo, an independent member of Preferred Boutique Hotels, stands at the Marina in Puerto Los Cabos and is scheduled to officially open its doors this month. The property will offer 66 deluxe rooms, four master suites and two signature suites, all of which are oceanfront. Geared toward young souls, El Ganzo will offer the artistic and cultured traveler a sushi fusion restaurant, an organic seafood restaurant, vodka bar and rooftop night club.

With completion expected by the end of the year, Diamante Cabo San Lucas, a 1,500 acre private oceanfront community, recently began construction on an 11-plus acre swimable saltwater lagoon designed by Crystal Lagoons, a company with patented technology to build crystal clear lagoons. Surrounding the lagoon will be multiple two-bedroom/three-bath villas and four-bedroom/ four and a half bath bungalows, as well as private beach cabanas. Also under development is a new championship golf course, designed by world-renowned golfer Tiger Woods. The new course will compliment the existing course, the Dunes Course at Diamante and will be Woods' first course outside the United States.

Opening in 2013, Secrets Puerto Los Cabos an adults-only resort which will redefine luxury and relaxation. The all-suite beachfront property recently broke ground in the Puerto Los Cabos development and will offer 500 spacious suites, each featuring a private balcony or terrace with a jacuzzi for two, incomparable dining experiences with eight gourmet restaurants and a 12,000 square foot spa offering unique treatments. Also opening in 2013 in San José del Cabo is the 157-room Hotel Hyatt Palace, which will be geared toward business executives.
