Baie-Saint-Paul, December 7 2012 – Hôtel La Ferme is pleased to unveil its holiday program that begins December 16 and runs until January 6. Countless activities to suit every age and taste will be offered onsite. The special holiday program is simply brimming with unforgettable experiences the whole family will enjoy, in a wonderful mix of modern and traditional.

 

Christmastime at Le Grand Marché de Charlevoix

On December 16, from 9am to 4pm, Hôtel La Ferme is presenting Le Noël du Grand Marché de Charlevoix in collaboration with le Grand Marché de Charlevoix. Over 25 of the region’s growers, producers and artisans will be in attendance, showing and sharing their local products. A lovely way to enjoy the rich flavours of the Charlevoix terroir, meet the artisans in person and wrap up your Christmas shopping too!

 

Cooking Workshops for that Ole’ Sweet Tooth

Saturdays and Sundays from December 16 to January 6, between 1:30pm and 3pm, everyone is invited to join cupcake and gingerbread decorating workshops in the foyer of la Salle Multi. Under the supervision of the chef pâtissier, both fine gourmets and little elves with a sweet tooth are sure to enjoy the workshop experience. Gorgeous cupcakes and gingerbread cookies will also be available at Le Bercail, for anyone with a craving for sweet, old-fashioned Christmastime treats.

 

Christmas Movie Classics on the Big Screen

Time to discover or rediscover Christmas movie classics on the big screen! Hôtel La Ferme is holding free viewings in Salle Ambroise-Fafard every day at 3pm, from December 22 to January 6. Joyeux Noël Shrek, Casse-Noisette,Boréal Express, Le Petit Prince and other great film classics are perfect for experiencing the magic of the holiday season…en famille.

 

Grand Opening of the Skating Rink!

In celebration of its very first winter, Le Massif de Charlevoix’s Hôtel La Ferme is inaugurating its outdoor skating rink. Opening in December, the rink is where visitors and locals alike are invited to enjoy hours of fun skating in a winter wonderland. Skate rentals, music, lights, fire drums, snowbanks and lively evenings with a guest DJ, all winter long.

 

Ahhh! Time with the kids at Spa du Verger

From December 27 to January 6, 9am to 12pm, Spa du Verger welcomes kids 6 to 11 to its Pattes d’Ours holiday workshops. Accompanied by their parents, children are invited to take part in a massage routine and then try the spas’s thermal experience, unwinding in the relaxation room between steps. After completing their circuit, they’re served a delicious hot chocolate and as a memento of their experience, they also receive a small gift bracelet.
