Eating well is in our genes! |
In Québec City, the foodie in you will always be well served. See for yourself what local restaurants have to offer. You may also want to follow the Gourmet Route, a feast for the senses laid out by some fifty agri-food businesses in the region. Farmers, chefs, winemakers, fine grocers and other food experts have prepared a unique tourist experience that showcases their know-how, dedication and passion for their craft. A tasty journey of discovery awaits those who set out along the Gourmet Route!
You can join a group of the 300 guests who will enjoy a delicious meal served in the middle of a field while watching the sun set. Every dish will feature local ingredients, in honour of those who worked so hard to produce them. A memorable dining event in the beautiful countryside this July. The exact location is to be announced.

Renovations complete at the Saint Pierre, auberge distinctive |
The renovations undertaken at the Saint Pierre, auberge distinctive, over the past few months are now complete. The extensive work on all 31 rooms and 10 suites of this boutique hotel in the Old Port represents an investment of over half a million dollars.
Note that the Saint Pierre, which opened its doors in 1997, is one of the first boutique hotels in Canada. The building in which the hotel is located dates back to 1821 and once held the head office of The Québec Fire Insurance Co., the first insurance company in the country. Rue Saint-Pierre used to be known as the Wall Street of Québec City.
