Grand Canyon Whitewater has a new style and is looking fine. Grand Canyon Whitewater has been primping all winter long, preparing for your Grand Canyon rafting trip this summer! We are aiming to be the host with the most, and show you the adventure of a lifetime in comfort and style on your next Colorado River rafting trip. With Grand Canyon Whitewater, living in the wilderness can be as comfortable as it is adventurous. We have updated and improved our camping and rafting gear, and our (already delicious) menu to make your Grand Canyon raft trip the best vacation you can imagine. Even if you have never camped before, you’ll feel right at home in the outdoors with us. Forget sleeping uncomfortably on the ground – instead rest on our above-ground Roll-A-Cots. The increased air circulation around the cots keeps you cool; they are much more comfortable than a pad and keep you away from rocks and critters on the ground. You can also use them as a seat or a card table while you're in camp. There is nothing better than snuggling into your sleeping bag, stretched out on your cot and gazing at the countless stars in the sky as you nod off in one of the most gorgeous places on earth. Along with cozy new cots, we have new Alps Mountaineering sleeping bags. These sleeping bags are top of the line and will keep you warm or cool, whichever necessary! Our favorite new toys are the Alps Mountaineering Meramac Tents. The tents are specially designed for outfitters like Grand Canyon Whitewater to comfortably fit two cots and your gear. Hopefully, weather permitting, you won’t sleep in a tent; the boundless view of the night sky in Grand Canyon is unparalleled. We know that the little things make a big difference on an outdoor adventure whitewater rafting through the Grand Canyon. We provide comfortable camp chairs for relaxing at the end of the day. The happy circle of chairs around the kitchen makes for easy camaraderie sharing stories after a day on the water while we prepare an amazing meal. We have designed a menu that has been researched, refined and perfected over the years by our sister company, Arizona River Runners. Our guides are incredible chefs; they can whip up anything from French toast with whipped cream and fresh strawberries to made-to-order omelets, tasty chicken salad sandwiches to grilled salmon with wild rice, and even steak and homemade mashed potatoes. So sit back, relax and enjoy! Grand Canyon Whitewater takes only the best and safest equipment out on the water. We’ve added Tohatsu Four-Stroke Outboard motors to our rafts. These motors allow us to save fuel, produce fewer emissions to allow for cleaner air and water, and are significantly quieter. These motors will enhance the enjoyment of your river experience, as well as minimize our impact on the environment. We’re looking our best with state of the art equipment, extras to keep you comfortable throughout your Colorado River rafting trip and most importantly, years of experience in navigating the Colorado River and making our guests’ vacation dreams come true.
