Epicenter of Utah’s Outdoor Recreation,
Moab Adventure Center,
Reports Strong Spring/Summer Bookings
Moab, UT, June 7, 2013 - Moab Adventure Center (MAC)
http://www.moabadventurecenter.com/, a one-stop-shopping, activities, reservations and information hub in the epicenter of Utah’s outdoor recreation, reports strong early season bookings and a growing trend for the drive market to book last-minute.
“This year could be a record-setter for advance bookings, and we still have good availability for our half-day and longer adventures thanks to reservation management and increased capacity,” notes Brandon Lake,
Moab Adventure Center Co-Founder.
However, while many of the
Moab activities offered can be booked up to the day of departure, Lake advises that visitors should book their lodging well in advance of arrival. Choices range from luxury home and villa rentals to dude ranches and motels. See:

Moab Area Travel Council spokesperson Marian DeLay reports that room tax collections are up 10 percent over last year at this time and that Utah’s five national parks will benefit from an aggressive national advertising campaign now running, as well as from the U.S. trend for people to take shorter, closer-to-home drive trips.
There are daily flights into Moab’s Canyonlands Field (CNY) from Denver, CO and Prescott, AZ aboard Great Lakes Airlines or guests may opt to drive five hours from Denver, four hours from Salt Lake City or 90 minutes from Grand Junction. See:

For first-time visitors to the region, Moab Adventure Center suggests their 4 day / 3 night
Southwest Sampler package including lodging, two days of Colorado River rafting, a night of beach camping and exploration of Arches National Park. The all-inclusive package is priced at $615 per person, double for adults and $515 per person, double for ages 5 to 15. See:

Bordering Moab to the north and west, Utah’s red rock fantasylands,
Canyonlands National Park and
Arches National Park, offer time-challenged visitors an immersion course in geology and ancient cultures when they fling themselves into activities showcasing the region’s beauty and diversity.
The advantage of this region, notes Lake, is the choice of activities for all ages and abilities, from hot air ballooning to mountain biking to river rafting and more. His company arranges the equipment and guides for many of the region’s offerings that can be purchased as half and full-day and multiple-day programs. See:

In an effort to encourage guests to stay in Moab longer and to save some money, Moab Adventure Center offers guests a 10 percent discount off each activity when packaging three or more select single-day adventures together.
