Israel Minister of Tourism Dr. Uzi Landau welcomed U.S. superstar Paula Abdul to Jerusalem this week on her first ever visit to Israel. Her tour, sponsored by the Ministry, includes Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Galilee and Tel Aviv.

RARE BOTTICELLI FRESCO THE ANNUNCIATION NOW ON DISPLAY AT THE ISRAEL MUSEUM THROUGH JANUARY 2014

The Annunciation, a rare fresco created by Italian artist Sandro Botticelli during the Florentine Renaissance period in 1481, is on display at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem now through January 2014. On special loan from the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy in honor of Israel's 65th anniversary, the rare eight-by-eighteen-foot fresco was originally displayed over the entrance of San Martino della Scala hospital in Italy.
