Award-Winning Women's Travel Pioneer Highlights New Insights About Women-Only Travel
Bozeman, Montana, January 6, 2014 – AdventureWomen®, the veteran adventure travel outfitter for women over 30, has launched a new online travel site for women showcasing the company’s women's-only travel experiences, women's travel trends, traveler stories, “Did You Know?” travel facts and tips, trip reviews, videos, recipes and more.
"In 1982, when I launched AdventureWomen®, it was unusual to hear of active travel opportunities geared specifically to women. Fast forward to today and it’s well known that women have made their mark as a driving force in the adventure travel industry. So in the spirit of adventurous women, everywhere, who love to embrace new challenges, we've launched a whole new online look for AdventureWomen to enable women travelers to get a 360 degree perspective about their opportunities for active travel all over the world” says Susan L. Eckert, President and Founder of AdventureWomen, Inc.
The re-launched AdventureWomen.com site includes new features and functionality and the "Ciao Bella" blog, packed with information about current and upcoming adventure vacations, traveler reviews and stories, videos and destination information. The worldwide adventure maps make it easy to browse domestic and international trip destinations, while ‘Tales from the Field’ recounts women’s stories about incredibly memorable moments and milestones from past adventures. The new ‘Did You Know?’ section of “Ciao Bella” provides fun facts about AdventureWomen’s destinations, wildlife, cultural and culinary experiences, with additional research about recent travel trends and the benefits of active travel. The new online destination for women adventure travelers also includes a database of traveler reviews and social media-generated comments from past clients and women adventurers. Potential travelers can browse destination-specific photo and video galleries showcasing everything from orangutans in Borneo, to bush planes in Alaska, and AdventureWomen’s National Geographic Magazine award-winning horseback riding trip in Iceland.
