Spend a Winter Weekend in Door County with Chamber Music to Warm the Musical Soul
The temperatures may not be warm, but the upcoming Peninsula Music Festival February Fest is sure to warm anyone’s heart! Join the Peninsula Music Festival Trio on Saturday, February 15, 2:00 p.m. at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin for an afternoon of chamber music.
The February Fest concert presented by the Peninsula Music Festival features PMF Orchestra members as well as favorite guest artists as a way to bridge the gap from August to August symphony seasons. Couples looking for a romantic experience can celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with the PMF Trio!
The PMF Trio is comprised of Susanna Self, flute; Jeffery Noel Lastrapes, cello; and Judith Jackson, piano. The program for the afternoon will feature the music of Weber and Mendelssohn. As a special treat, Music Director Victor Yampolsky will be in attendance and will be present to visit with guests at a special reception after the concert.

About Peninsula Music Festival:
For more than 61 years, the Peninsula Music Festival has been presenting world class symphonic music on Wisconsin's Door Peninsula. This fully professional symphony orchestra presents nine concerts each August and is comprised of musicians from America's finest orchestras. Under the baton of Music Director and Conductor Victor Yampolsky, concerts are performed every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the state-of-the-art, Door Community Auditorium. This amazing concert hall was specifically built as a performance location for the Festival, and has perfect acoustics with great sight lines.
