Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, November 13, 2014 - Saturday afternoon, November 22, marks Philadelphia’s Tellabration™ gathering.
Tellabration is a worldwide, 26-year celebration of the art of storytelling, sponsored by the National Storytelling Network. Patchwork: A Storytelling Guild brings the celebration to the Parish Hall of the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. Attendees will hear seven notable area tellers share adult theme tales that explore the unanticipated.
The eclectic bunch regales with original and classic material. Gathering to tell are Center City’s Michele Belluomini, Mt. Airy’s Linda Brunn, Overbrook Farm’s Vernyce Dannells, Jessica Dimuzio of East Norriton, Tom Egan of Coopersburg, Coatesville teller Oni Lasana, and Chestnut Hill’s Dennis Strain.

The celebration begins at 2 PM on the November 22, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The Parish Hall of the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields is at the intersection of Willow Grove Avenue and St. Martins Lane in Chestnut Hill.
Tickets are available at the door for $15 per adult.
