Bike Tours and Snorkeling Adventures Featured in Second La Jolla Shores Location

        SAN DIEGO─La Jolla Kayak, San Diego’s largest and most experienced ocean sports outfitter, is expanding to a second location across the street from their current store in La Jolla Shores. Responding to overwhelming demand the new store will be La Jolla’s headquarters for spectacular bike tours and fascinating leopard shark snorkeling adventures. “With leopard sharks spending most of the year at La Jolla Shores now,” according to owner Michael Luscomb, “we want our guests to enjoy the experience of swimming with these amazing creatures.” The new store will also be featuring guided bike tours. “Soledad Slide” tours begin at the top of Mt. Soledad and continue through La Jolla’s most spectacular scenery including Windansea beach, La Jolla cove and the children’s pool seal colony.

La Jolla Kayak offers guided leopard shark snorkeling adventures as well as equipment rentals for people that would rather explore on their own. Bike tours include comfortable transportation to the top of Mt. Soledad. Hourly bike rentals and discounted combination bike/snorkel/kayak packages are also available. La Jolla Kayak’s new bike and snorkel store will open on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2202 Avenida De La Playa in La Jolla Shores. The new store will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to sunset.
