October 8, 2007, Calistoga, CA) - Napa Valley will celebrate the end of harvest at the Calistoga
Downtown Jazz & Blues Festival the weekend of November 2-4. Live music
will fill the air as Bay Area jazz and blues favorites such as Herb Gibson,
Larry Vuckovich and Alvon Johnson take the stage in various downtown
venues. On Saturday, November 3, music lovers may listen, shop and enjoy
local wines from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tickets for this event are $15 and
include a wine glass and four drink tickets. Additional drink tickets may
be purchased for $2 each.
End the weekend on a tasty note at one of
several winemaker dinners hosted at local restaurants including Brannan's Grill,
All Seasons Bistro, Boskos Trattoria, The Calistoga Inn, Flatiron Grill and
Wappo Bar & Bistro. Enjoy indulgent menus featuring freshly harvested
local foods paired with wines from Bennett Lane, Clos du Val, Sterling
Vineyards, Saviez Vineyards and more. The dinners begin at 6 p.m. on
Sunday, November 4 and include three courses paired with wines from at least
three local wineries. Prices for the dinners vary by restaurant in the
range of $50- $125 per person.
