Surfing Santa – November 24, 2007
In California’s surf capital, Santa ditches the sleigh and opts to hang ten. On Saturday, November 24, 2007, you can catch Surfing Santa and his reindeer as they ride the waves to shore on surfboards at noon at Capitola Beach. Santa will pitch a lawn chair on the beach and take wish list requests from the kids while Donner, Blitzen and the others break out the candy and the holiday cheer.
Santa Cruz Holiday Lights Train – November 24 & 30 and Weekends in December 2007
The popular Santa Cruz Holiday Lights Train returns for the holiday season. Beginning Thanksgiving weekend and continuing in December, beautifully lit Pullman cars and open-air excursion cars will travel through Victorian Santa Cruz as carolers sing and the sweet scent of hot spiced cider fills the air. Lighted Boat Parade – December 1, 2007
At the Santa Cruz Harbor, fifty decorated boats bedecked with twinkling lights will parade through the waters of the Santa Cruz Harbor for the annual Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, December 1, 2007. The festive boats will set sail at 5:30 p.m. Hot drinks and snacks will be provided at various locations along the south harbor. Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good to the event for Second Harvest Food Bank’s holiday food drive.
Holiday Time on the Ranch – December 15, 2007
