Value World Tours, one of America’s premier international river cruise specialists, will begin a new 10 night cruise on the Mekong River between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Siem Reap, Cambodia in October 2008.  To introduce this new service, a $500 per person or $1000 per couple discount is offered on the October 28, 2008 sailing only.  Nancy Toussaint, from Value World’s home office staff, will also be escorting this special voyage.

 

The RV “Indochine,” due for completion in July, is being built in a style reflecting the resplendent colonial era of river traveling.  Her refined setting, combined with the newest technological innovations will ensure that passengers have the highest level of comfort and safety available anywhere on the Mekong River.  A maximum of just 48 passengers will travel on each of these soft adventure voyages. All cabins are air-conditioned, and have a large window, beds that convert from twin to double, and a private bathroom.   The ship features a one sitting restaurant on the upper deck and an enclosed bar/lounge on the sun deck.

 

A complete 2- week land/cruise package includes one night in Ho Chi Minh, a 10 day/9 night sailing between Ho Chi Minh and Siem Reap, and three nights in Siem Reap. Extensive sightseeing in and around Ho Chi Minh includes the Vietnam War Cu Chi Tunnels, a rickshaw ride to a Chinese Market, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Seasonal rates begin at $1999 per person for the 10 day cruise or $2499 per person for the 14 day package.
