      ROSWELL, N.M. -  Picture this; you're navigating through space, taking
in the beautiful views of Earth.  You see the sun peeking out from behind
the moon and in your line of vision you see. a UFO!  No, this isn't the
opening scene from this summer's big science-fiction blockbuster.  This is
the new Amazing Roswell UFO Festival website for the Amazing Roswell UFO
Festival being held this year from July 3-6, 2008.
     
      The new festival site made its official cyberspace debut this year at
www.ufofestivalroswell.com.  On the site a glowing UFO gives you an
extraterrestrial view of earth and guides you through all the exciting
details of The Amazing Roswell UFO Festival.  Visitors can find out about
festival events, sponsors, presenters, contact information and view photos
of last year's festival "sightings."

      This year's UFO Festival will feature alien attractions, lectures and
book signings.  Guests can help to uncover the truth about the 1947 crash
that sparked immediate controversy and has continued to be a topic of debate
more than 60 years later. 
     
      Roswell Mayor Sam LaGrone and the UFO Festival Committee are working
to organize an event everyone can participate in:  "This year, we want the
festival to be all-inclusive.  We invite everyone with an interest in UFOs,
aliens and outer space to be a part of the festival as a presenter, a guest,
or both," Mayor LaGrone said.
