WEGGIS, SWITZERLAND – The five-star 53-room Park Hotel Weggis, a Relais & Châteaux property located in the picturesque lakeside Village of Weggis in Central Switzerland, has completed an enhancement program that began with the restoration of its original art nouveau structure and concluded with extensions of luxury accommodations, spa and wellness area, meeting facilities with cutting edge technology and unique culinary venues. The restoration project was completed July 2007 by the architectural firm of Aldoplan. Peter Kämpfer, general manger of the Park Hotel Weggis, oversaw the project.

Adara
Suites
The recently unveiled Adara suites will appeal to a new generation of luxury travelers and is the show piece of the enhancement program. Named for the star Adara in the Canis Major constellation of the southern hemisphere, the 10 suites were designed to promote relaxation through comfort and detailed attributes and design elements. Much like the star it is named for, a celestial body that in astrology promises favorable characteristics of goodness, fidelity and powerful emotions, the design of the suites captures the emotions by transporting guests to a tranquil state fostered by the awe-inspiring views of Lake Lucerne from every vantage point of the suite and private terrace.
Christian Fischbacher satin bed-linens and bathrobes, Bose sound systems, Panasonic flat screen televisions, Treca de Paris beds, electric curtains, furnishings from European designers B&B Italia and Promemoria, as well as objects from the Thony Collection and exquisite JAB and Carlucci di Chivasso fabrics are featured in the suites.
