ATE To Focus On Indigenous And Eco-friendly Tourism
The Australia Tourism Exchange (ATE) is an opportunity for media and the travel industry from around the world to meet with Australian tourism businesses, transportation companies, special interest operators, attractions and accommodation providers to learn about and experience the Australian lifestyle and environment first hand.
ATE 2008 will take place in June 2008 in Perth, Western Australia. The key themes will be Indigenous Australia and eco-friendly Australia. |

Sydney's Mardi Gras Turns 30 |
|
The 30th annual Mardi Gras parade drew 10,000 costumed and flag-waving participants from all over the world to Sydney this March. The 2.5 mile parade showcased 150 colorful floats to celebrate diversity and inclusiveness.
Air New Zealand joined in on the fun with North America’s first ever gay themed pink flight transporting party goers from San Francisco for the event.

Blue-Eyed Koala Captures Hearts At Dreamworld
Whether genetics or a random event, a blue-eyed Koala nick-named ‘Frankie’ who recently emerged from his mother’s pouch at Queensland’s Dreamworld, is getting lots of attention.
Koalas are native to Australia and found in the wild in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, their eyes are usually brown. For more information click here |
