Tax Day Behind Us, Rebate Checks on the Way
How Far Will The Extra Money Go On Vacation?
Americans can breathe a sigh of relief now that the April 15 tax filing deadline has past. As anticipation builds for the economic stimulus rebate checks set to hit mailboxes this May, it's a perfect time for families to begin thinking about applying the money towards the summer vacation.
Americans Will Continue to Travel
According to research conducted by YPartnership, despite concern about the economy, "to Americans, travel is a birthright, and one we will continue to exercise in one form or another regardless about uncertainty about the future."
Value Destinations
According to the results of the recent Hotwire 2008 Travel Value Index, Orlando was named the top destination in the east for a vacation that provides the best value and entertainment options. With a wide range of accommodations from budget and value, to vacation homes and campgrounds, along with world-class attractions which offer affordable packages, Orlando provides travelers many value-oriented options for fun.
