NEW ADDITIONS ABOUND IN TALLAHASSEE AREA ATTRACTIONS, RESTAURANTS AND ACCOMMODATIONS

Best known as Florida’s capital, Tallahassee is an intimate neo-metropolitan city where the power of state government, the academic and the artistic are complemented by subtle, old-fashioned charm. Tallahassee has more than 5,734 hotel rooms in more than 58 hotels and motels -- many with recent renovations -- ranging from full-service hotels in the heart of downtown to quaint and affordable lodging just minutes from the Capitol. Tallahassee features traditional and unique meeting and convention options totaling more than 398,000 square feet of space, with more than 55,000 square feet in 31 hotels.

Whether coming in for an executive retreat, a family reunion or a high school baseball tournament, the Tallahassee Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (TACVB) offers a committed team that provides fast, efficient and effective assistance to meeting, event and non-traditional planners. From securing accommodations and transportation to catering and entertainment options, the TACVB is available to organize a successful visit for all to Tallahassee (http://www.VisitTallahassee.com).
