Ontario Science Centre and hotels offer out-of-town travelers exclusive “stay and play” package

(Toronto, ON April 25, 2008) – Exploring all of the innovative and fascinating exhibitions at the Ontario Science Centre this summer has never been so easy. Until March 31, 2009, visitors can take advantage of a number of exclusive hotel packages offered through the Ontario Science Centre and 20 different hotels located in and around the Greater Toronto Area. All packages include one night hotel stay, admission to the FACING MARS exhibition (for the run of the engagement) and the Ontario Science Centre for 2-4 guests and much more.

With 30 experiences, FACING MARS invites visitors to step into the space shoes of an astronaut and confront the challenges of exploring the Red Planet. Guests will feel what it’s like to “walk on Mars” at an exhibit that subtracts 60 per cent of their weight to simulate Martin gravity and explore some of the potential psychological and emotional stresses astronauts may face on their journey. The groundbreaking FACING MARS exhibition was developed by the Ontario Science Centre in consultation with leading experts from the space exploration field and runs from June 9, 2008 to January 4, 2009.
