GVB Honored as an Outstanding Member of PATA for 50 Years
Tumon, Guam - The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) International Board of Directors held its biannual meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka from April 4 – 7, 2008, and the Guam Visitors Bureau was honored, along with 33 other organizations, for being members in good-standing for over 50 years. Dutch Oven Cooking Programs are Tasty and Fun

Rohrbach, travel writer Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism My recent cooking lesson started off familiar enough – we sprayed the pot with Pam – except that pot was a Dutch oven sitting on gravel at my campsite on the White River in north central Arkansas. NBTA: US-VISIT Exit Plan Would Create Undue Stress on U.S. Economy
Alexandria, VA - The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) – the business travel industry advocacy organization – voiced concern about a plan to hold airlines and cruise lines responsible for collection of biometric identifiers from non-U.S. citizens as they exit the country. Corporate Travel Professionals Begin Designation Program at NBTA Canada Event in Montreal
The National Business Travel Association Canada (NBTA Canada) -- the leading provider of education and professional resources for corporate travel professionals in Canada -- yesterday held an Education Day in Montreal at which 21 corporate travel professionals took the Canadian Fundamentals of Business Travel Management course. NBTA Applauds Progress on FAST Redress Act
The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) applauds the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security Subcommittee on Transportation Security and Infrastructure Protection for approving by voice vote H.R. 4179, the FAST Redress Act of 2007. The move comes after NBTA submitted the attached letter to the leadership of the Committee and the Subcommittee. The FAST Redress Act now goes to the full Committee, and NBTA is urging that the Committee send it to the full U.S. House of Representatives for consideration. Click for more >
