Aspen's Hotel Jerome- Holiday Pet Package

 ASPEN, Colo. – October 24, 2007 — This holiday season, man's best friend – and man himself – deserve a special treat. With Hotel Jerome's "Helpful Hounds" holiday pet package, guests and their four-legged companions enjoy all the amenities of a luxury stay at Aspen's landmark hotel. And in the spirit of holiday giving, a portion of the package proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter.
 
The Hotel Jerome's "Helpful Hounds" package is $75 per stay. Of the $75 fee, $15 will be donated to the Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter, a non-profit organization that supports the local animal shelter and homeless pets. In addition, Hotel Jerome will match that for a donation total of $30 per visiting pet family. Beginning December 1, 2007 rates start from $225 per night/double occupancy.
 
Hotel Jerome will make Fido and friends feel like a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) beginning at check-in.  The package includes a personalized welcome letter from the general manager and a signature "Hotel Jerome VIP" dog tag.  The red-carpet experience continues with a gourmet gift bag from Wags to Riches (the Aspen Animal Shelter's gift shop), pet pillow and water bowls to be used during the duration of the stay.
 
For an afternoon of sniffing around town, Hotel Jerome provides guests a list and map of the best dog-walking areas in town. All pet guests and owners will receive a "HJ Haute Pets Menu" with pet amenities, grooming services and a helpful listing of pet-friendly attractions in Aspen. Guests will also be presented with a copy of Cindy Hirschfeld's book, "Canine Colorado".
