YOGA AND SURFING

SEATTLE – October 23, 2007 – Via Yoga™ announces 9 yoga and surfing packages for the 2008 season, located in beautiful Sayulita, Mexico.   These four- or six-night yoga, yoga/surfing or yoga/pilates retreats run from January through April 2008 (see below for dates).   

Via Yoga is located in Sayulita, Mexico, one of the best-kept secret beach hamlets along Mexico 's Pacific Coast .  A quaint fishing village dotted with charming restaurants, shops and taquerias, Sayulita also features some of Mexico 's best surfing with a year round water temperature of 80°.  Both beginners and advanced surfers will enjoy its excellent surf break.

One of the few co-ed retreats of its kind, a Via Yoga travel package includes:

• Four- or six-night accommodations at Villa Amor, a deluxe oceanfront resort nestled on a hillside overlooking Sayulita Bay .  The resort features thirty-four spacious, open-air villas that are just steps from the beach and have expansive views of the ocean, village and distant mountains.
• Two 90-minute classes each day, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon.   A variety of yoga classes are offered including Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Anusara.   All are taught by highly-regarded, experienced instructors.
• A one hour surf lesson each day (yoga/surfing package only)
• Daily breakfast buffet at Villa Amor, which includes an assortment of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, cereal, yogurt, and rotating hot items.
• Three group dinners at Villa Amor and/or other local restaurants
• A one hour massage
• A day trip to Punta Mita for surfing or snorkeling (lunch included)
• Access to other great activities such as hikes, shopping, horseback riding, and exploring the town
• Roundtrip airport transfers from Puerto Vallarta International Airport to Villa Amor
