The tour begins in the Baroque jewel, Salzburg, with Mozart and family. Travelers will visit the house that the Mozart family lived and composed in and attend a Mozart candle-light dinner and performance of the new Bach festival; discover the sites of the “The Sound Of Music” in Salzburg’s surrounding lake district. Then onward east along the Danube the tour ends in Imperial Vienna - "the music capital of the world" (quote by Jeff Spurgeon, WQXR Radio). Concert or opera performances by composers such as Mozart, Schubert or Strauss, listen to the glorious voices of the Vienna Boy's Choir, the sight and sounds of ancient instruments, houses where the composers lived & worked - all that will give the participants a taste of this musical Vienna. And as a special treat in 2008 participants are being taken to a unique Haydn concert in Eisenstadt at the Schloss Esterhazy where Haydn worked and composed.
