Fanfare at the North East Ohio Salvation Army Brass Band Concert in Lakeside 

 

            Lakeside, OH - Salvationist instrumentalists from the North East Ohio Salvation Army (NEOSA) Brass Band will assemble in Lakeside to perform selections from their repertoire in the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Morning Service at Hoover Auditorium and at a 3:15 p.m. full concert at the Steel Bandstand in Central Park on May 25, 2008 to celebrate the Memorial Day holiday.

 

            Under the direction of Bandmaster Eric Dina, the brass band will deliver an exciting program of patriotic pieces and militant marches along the serene shores of Lake Erie, creating a beautiful backdrop for a musical tribute to those who have fallen protecting our freedoms and honoring those currently serving in the military.

 

            NEOSA Brass Band is a premier divisional band in Northeast Ohio but also a nationally and internationally recognized musical ensemble, garnering performances worldwide in venues across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Finland and Estonia. This is the band’s first time performing at Lakeside.

           

            Join the Lakeside community for this free preseason (no gate fee) performance while experiencing the ambiance of the historic Chautauqua community. Refreshments provided by the Salvation Army Port Clinton Women’s Auxiliary will be provided after the show. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Hoover Auditorium.
