What: The Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) is a world-class championship event that has been drawing leading equestrians including Olympic champions from around the U.S. and abroad since 1958. They vie for more than $415,000 in prize money as well as championship titles. Approximately 600 horses will compete in show jumping, hunters, equitation and dressage during the six-day event. Unique shopping in 65 boutiques, a Pony Pavilion with free pony rides, and exhibitions including; driving, Saddlebred horse demonstrations, agility dogs, and many more round out the event.
