BOUTIQUE PROPERTY IN SONOMA, CALIFORNIA TOPS CONDÉ NAST TRAVELER'S 15^th ANNUAL GOLD LIST

 

(Kenwood, California) January 5, 2009- Condé Nast Traveler has awarded high honors to the Kenwood Inn and Spa (www.kenwoodinn.com) unveiled in its 15th annual Gold List - the 710 best hotels, resorts and cruise lines around the world.  The Kenwood Inn and Spa had previously been named Best Mainland U.S. Resort in the magazine's 21st Annual 'Readers Choice Awards'.  The awards are derived from the Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Survey, the largest independent poll of consumers' preferences.  Over 32,000 readers voted and then the magazine interviewed them to identify what specifically makes them the cream of the crop.  The Kenwood Inn and Spa is highlighted in the January 2009 issue receiving an overall score of 95.5, which included a perfect 100 point score for both Service and Design.  Kenwood's Mediterranean-influenced villa amid the vineyards secures a perfect design score- "surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful fountains" and aggregate reader comments included:  "We really love the serenity." The inn's intimate Italian restaurant uses produce grown on-site, and dishes are served by perfect-scoring staff "who make your stay special by their warmth."
