Mass Value Pass Offers Opportunities for Travelers to See the State, and Save Money, Too
BOSTON - January 14, 2009 – Today, the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT), in conjunction with the Massachusetts Lodging Association and the Massachusetts Restaurant Association today announced its latest money-saving, consumer-minded promotion, Mass Value Pass. The program, which runs from January 14 to March 31, gives consumers access to savings at over 300 hotels, restaurants and attractions. The offerings vary at each location, but all offer a discount of at least 25% off regularly priced goods.
To find a list of participating lodgings, restaurants and attractions, travelers and residents can visit www.massvacation.com and print the actual Mass Value Pass. To redeem the discounts, consumers must show the pass at points of purchase or be sure to mention the Mass Value Pass when booking hotel reservations.
“The Mass Value Pass provides meaningful discounts for locals residents and visitors to explore and enjoy Massachusetts’ dining, lodging, and attractions,” said Betsy Wall, executive director of the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. “Our hospitality industry is rolling out the red carpet – at very affordable rates.”
The promotion is being supported by in-state radio and online advertising.
