CLARK, Colo. – February 24, 2009 – The Home Ranch, a scenic dude ranch located in Clark, CO just outside of Steamboat Springs, announces that it will extend the 2009 winter season.  Guests can now book their trip through April 8, taking advantage of the great snow and numerous activities the Home Ranch has to offer.

 

“We’ve had such a great winter, and we’re excited to be able to share that with more people this year,” said Selina Heintz, Front Desk Manager of the Home Ranch.  “Staying open later just makes sense when the conditions will still be great for all the winter fun at the ranch.”

 

Winter activities at the Home Ranch include:

§  Downhill (Steamboat Springs) 

§  Cross-country skiing

§  Snowshoeing

§  Tubing

§  Horseback riding and sleigh rides

§  Fly fishing

§  Kids’ game room

 

The Home Ranch also boasts some of the best food and wine around.  Guests enjoy gourmet meals three times daily, prepared by Chef Clyde Nelson.  Accommodations at the Home Ranch include six rooms in the main lodge and eight private cabins ranging from one to three bedrooms.  Each of the private cabins features its own hot tub on the porch for relaxing at the end of a fun-filled day.  All activities and meals are included in the cost of the stay, and kids stay free at the Home Ranch.
