It's a Celebration of the Imagination in the Heart of England!Light bulbs have been going off for centuries in the Heart of England. This year is loaded with anniversaries marking the region's milestone innovations and greatest minds. Come celebrate 400 years of Shakespeare's sonnets to five decades of the sleek Mini. The Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire opens a new exhibition called "50 Years of the Mini." Famous Scots ExhibitionHomecoming Scotland celebrations continue with a new exhibition called "Famous Scots" at the ScotlandsPeople Centre in Edinburgh. Running until December 31, 2009, the rolling exhibition explores the personal family history of six well-known Scots.
