Hacienda Petac, a luxurious private estate outside Merida, Mexico offers exclusive wedding services for couples looking for intimate, private and customized affairs. The package is designed for small groups offering the hacienda and its 5 bedrooms and a full staff of 23 that handles all details of a wedding of up to 25 people.
The basic package includes music, minister (a special Mayan ceremony can be arranged), flowers, photographer, reception facilities (exclusive use of all hacienda grounds and facilities), elegant four course dinner, one case of premium champagne, transfers to/from Merida, PLUS: two nights accommodation (five bedrooms) for up to 10 persons (12 persons by arrangement) including meals and one additional night for bride and groom including meals, two massages, champagne excursion to a flamingo reserve and mangroves –or similar excursion of choice.
This gracious estate has been restored exquisitely, respecting its historical and cultural legacy. The original exterior walls have been painstakingly preserved and the interiors in peach, terra cotta and cornflower blue recall its 400-year-old splendor. Colonial antiques and custom-designed furnishings lend authentic charm and warmth. The sweet and attentive Mayan staff adds to the feeling of a luxurious, private home. Hacienda Petac is located approximately 30 minutes from Merida International Airport, which is served by frequent flights from Houston, Miami, Atlanta and Mexico City. From Cancun, the Hacienda is a three-hour drive. For guests who wish to explore the diverse attractions of this region, several of the world's finest Mayan archeological sites, wildlife reserves, and underwater caves are within an hour.
The all-inclusive wedding package is $11,000 (plus tax) for groups of 10-12. Additional wedding guests are $100 per person; this does not include accommodations, or, transport charges. Additional night hacienda rental is $1,000 per night. Price does not include medical tests, legal fees and documents necessary for a recognized marriage performed in Mexico.
