CVB Offers Complimentary Assistance for Group Gatherings

If you’re wondering where to begin, let the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) come to the rescue with our complimentary Family Reunion Workshop Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Hyatt Place North Point Mall. Here, a professional event and meeting planner will guide you through the family reunion planning process. Join other community members as the Alpharetta CVB presents tips about launching the planning process; defining the “who, what, where and when” for your event; establishing committees; communicating; managing finances; reserving accommodations, facilities and vendors; scheduling activities; making final preparations; thanking, evaluating and celebrating your event. All attendees also receive a complimentary Group Planning Guide to assist in planning a future reunion or gathering. Not only is the advice complimentary, but a free lunch will be served at the workshop as well. Door prizes and complimentary stays in Alpharetta hotels promise to make the event memorable – with a grand prize giveaway of a digital camera.
