Basin Harbor Resort Offers A Package Designed with Family In Mind

Vergennes, Vt. (April 30, 2009) – Bingo, family movies, teddy bears and great food are all part of the “Family Fun” package being offered by Basin Harbor on the shores of Lake Champlain.  This two night package runs from June 12 – 14 and offers a little something for everyone in the family.

Package details: A weekend of family fun and fitness, includes accommodations for 2 adults and 2 kids under 12. Enjoy breakfast each day, and dinner Saturday night with our famous Harbor Fair Carnival. Amenities include bingo Saturday night ($1 per card), kid friendly movie, day camp, narrated lake cruise, 5K run for both parents AND kid's fun run. A special end to this weekend is Sunday lunch and the Teddy Bear Picnic. This fundraiser for the Vermont Children’s Hospital is a wonderful finale to your family fun and includes face painting, jumpy castles, lawn games, bear decorating and a fantastical lunch buffet. Kids get two bears, one to donate to the hospital and one to cherish themselves. Rates for this package start at $418 for a guest room and go to $520 for a one bedroom cottage. Tax and service not included. Pre registration for the race is required.
