Great American Volleyball returns with Atlantic City Open June 6-7, 2009

(Atlantic City, NJ, May 29, 2009) – This summer, volleyball is served when Great American Volleyball returns on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7 for the Great American Volleyball Atlantic City Open, taking place on the beach in front of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino next to the Trump Plaza Beach Bar.

Players from the Tri-State area and along the East Coast will compete for top positions and for their share of prizes.  Teams of all talent levels are invited to participate.  Saturday’s tournament features Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles.  Sunday’s tournament is a co-ed tournament.

Admission is free for all spectators.  The beach gets crowded quickly, so plan on arriving early for a good spot, close to all the action. Tournaments begin at approximately 9 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. each day. All volleyball players must check in between 8-8:30 a.m. on Saturday and between 8:30-9 a.m. on Sunday. Those registering late will be subject to a $10 late fee. Registration fees vary depending on when teams register.
