Las Vegas – Hawaiian Tropic Zone opens a dining and entertainment destination in America’s playground, Las Vegas, Nov. 30, 2007.
After enjoying culinary success at the world’s first Hawaiian Tropic Zone in New York City, powerhouse restaurateur Dennis Riese, of Riese Restaurant fame, and Adam Hock, co-owner of PURE nightclub in Las Vegas, have decided to bring glitz and entertainment back into fine dining in Las Vegas. Located at the 50-yard line of the Las Vegas Strip, Hawaiian Tropic Zone will boast a sexy modern décor, multi-tiered dining room, mouth-watering menu items, cat-walk stage for nightly entertainment, full bar and a two-story waterfall.
Famed culinary artist and entrepreneur David Burke will serve as the mastermind behind Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s eclectic menu. Burke’s menu, which features both lunch and dinner items, is sure to tantalize and tempt even the most experienced diners. Select dishes include crackling Asian spiced pork shank with lap chung and shrimp fried rice, filet mignon & seared shrimp scampi with sautéed spinach and tomato fondue, and for the sweet tooth, flourless warm chocolate cake with dulce de leche ice cream and cocoa nibs.
American fashion icon Nicole Miller has designed exclusive fucshia bikinis and floral sarongs for Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s sexy table concierges. The girls, all of whom are highly trained in assisting guests’ with all their dining needs, will also participate in a nightly beauty pageant on Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s iconic cat-walk stage.
A Hawaiian Tropic Zone retail shop will be attached to the restaurant. Packed to the brim with hip and lively Hawaiian Tropic Zone merchandise, the store will be the trendiest outlet inside Miracle Mile Shops.
Hawaiian Tropic Zone will be open daily from 11 a.m. – 4 a.m., with lunch served 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., 5 p.m. – 12 a.m. for dinner and 12 a.m. – 4 a.m. for late night supper. The bar will remain open during all operating hours and serve signature cocktails such as an Espresso Martini, Grapefruit Fizz and Bikini Punch.
Opening Nov. 30, 2007, Hawaiian Tropic Zone will be Las Vegas’ quintessential dining and entertainment experience. Located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the Las Vegas location will boast a sexy modern décor, multi-tiered dining room, mouth-watering menu items, cat-walk stage for nightly entertainment, full bar and a two-story waterfall. Exotic and friendly Hawaiian Tropic models will serve as “table concierges” to assist with guests’ every dining need as well as participate in nightly beauty pageants. Costume designer Nicole Miller and world-famous chef David Burke have come together to bring glitz and entertainment back into fine dining and make Hawaiian Tropic Zone the hottest place on the Las Vegas Strip.
