Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Serves Up its Summer “lunch & learn” Series

Scottsdale, AZ. (June 8, 2009) – Since opening in 2001, Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain (Scottsdale, Ariz.) has welcomed star chefs, wine makers and culinary experts to the resort, introducing guests and locals to the greats of the business during summer afternoons of good food and conversation. The tradition continues this July and August as Sanctuary announces its eighth annual “lunch & learn” series, featuring another inspired line-up of epicurean power-players.
Led by Sanctuary’s Executive Chef Beau MacMillan, lunch & learn classes are held every Saturday between July 11 and Aug. 15, 2009 from 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. in The Views ballroom. Classes cost $65 per person and include lunch, beverages, tax and service charge, along with take-home recipes. Two special evening engagements on Aug. 1 and Aug. 15, 2009 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. will feature a three-course dinner with entertainment for $95 per person. Local foodies can turn their excursion into a mini “staycation,” pairing a lunch & learn class with a Saturday evening stay for a special one-night rate of $169 – including complimentary upgrade to a mountain casita suite when available.
