Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Nature Blog allows guests to keep up with the island’s diverse wildlife

KIAWAH ISLAND, SC – The staff of the Nature Center at Kiawah Island Golf Resort has always encouraged guests to “get back to nature.”  To help them in that quest and to let them stay in touch with Kiawah Island’s rich and diverse natural environment, the staff has created a Kiawah Island Wildlife blog that catalogs natural events on the island. 

 

Guests can log onto www.KiawahWildlife.com for information on the current nature events on the island.  From keeping track of how many Loggerhead Sea Turtle nests have been laid this season to posting photos of unique sightings, the Resort’s staff of knowledgeable Naturalists and Biologists keeps this page packed with fun and interesting material for all ages.

 

Regular features include weekly birding reports, introductions to seasonal species, fishing trends and tips from our motorboat Captains, incredible photographs, and even updates on various rehabilitated animals that come through the Nature Center in Night Heron Park.  Island visitors and residents are also frequent contributors to the site - the Nature Program encourages people of all ages to share their nature observations and pictures by emailing nature_program@kiawahresort.com.
