Popular Visions of Italy also debuts on Blu-ray
Silver Spring, MD — Featuring four breathtaking aerial travel programs, Visions of Britain & Ireland debuts on Blu-ray and standard DVD from Acorn Media on August 18, 2009 ($49.99 each, www.AcornOnline.com). The value-priced collection includes some of the most popular Visions titles- England, Scotland, and Ireland- and the previously unreleased Visions of Wales. Some of the world’s most legendary cities, ancient sites, and verdant landscapes are captured from a stunning vantage point. Shot in high definition from a helicopter-mounted camera and planned with precision for optimum lighting and angles, these programs offer the ultimate in armchair travel. The programs aired on public television, and this set also include unaired bonus footage. Visions of Italy currently available on standard DVD is also being released on Blu-ray on August 18, 2009 (2-volume, $49.99). These two sets mark the Visions series debut on Blu-ray.
