Kapalua Spa Packages Offers Ultimate Relaxation

Busy travelers craving some rest and relaxation will want to check out the all-new Kapalua Spa, which offers a blissful escape from hectic everyday life with special accommodations packages. Through September 30, 2009, and while supplies last, all guests who book a minimum three-night stay at The Kapalua Villas will receive a complimentary $100 Kapalua Spa gift certificate which they can use towards the treatment of their choice – such as the spa’s signature ‘Awa and Cacao Lomi Wrap, Hawaiian Spirulina Wrap or one-of-a-kind Journey Through the Ocean dual therapist massage!

Zip to It: Take a Ride on Kapalua Adventures’ New Zipline Tours

Take advantage of Maui’s legendary sunsets with Kapalua Resort’s new Sunset Zip Tours. The tours, which run each Wednesday and Saturday from 5 to 7:30 p.m., feature an adventure-packed expedition on two scenic ziplines over Kapalua Nui’s dramatic ridges and ravines. At the conclusion of the fun-filled evening, participants enjoy pupus, wine and beer at the Mountain Outpost’s beautiful 360-degree view pavilion and observation deck. Kapalua Adventures’ Sunset Zip Tours are $129 per person and available only to adults, ages 21 years and older.

 

Another evening tour, Kapalua Resort’s Full Moon Zip Tour, is offered once a month from 8 to 10 p.m. and offers guests sweeping views by the light of the full moon. Participants will venture across the longest and highest suspension bridge in Hawai‘i and then taken on a soaring journey over the west Maui forest on the resort’s 2,000-foot-long zipline. At the end of the experience, guests are treated to hot chocolate and cookies at the open-air pavilion and observation deck. Participants are encouraged to wear layered tops and long pants on both new tours to ward off the post-sunset chill.  8 to 10 p.m.  Kapalua Adventures’ Full Moon Zip Tour is $99 per person.
