Playa del Carmen, Mexico (July 27, 2009)—The Rosewood Mayakobá (www.rosewoodmayakoba.com) in Mexico’s Riviera Maya was ranked one of the best hotels worldwide and the top resort in Mexico in Travel+Leisure magazine’s recently-published World’s Best 2009 Awards.
The magazine’s 14th annual readers’ poll placed the Rosewood Mayakobá 18th internationally and first in the Resorts in Mexico category.
Three Riviera Maya properties made Travel+Leisure’s Top 15 Resorts in Mexico list in addition to the Rosewood Mayakobá: the Maroma Resort & Spa (11th, www.maromahotel.com) and the Royal Hideaway Playacar (15th, www.royalhideaway.com).
