This year, the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is offering the biggest Halloween treat ever in 29 seasons of mirth and merriment, a 13th weekend. This encore weekend, October 31 and November 1, added to the current 12-weekend run will continue the Faire's frightfully-fantastic, family-friendly Halloween Daze & Spooky Knights celebration at Mount Hope Estate & Winery in northern Lancaster County.
Experience the Halloween season with this spook-tacular day-trip outing. The bewitchingly beautiful 35-acre Faire grounds will be awash in the haunting colors of fall with pumpkins, mums, gourds, jack-o-lanterns and a 30-feet tall scarecrow comprised of a metal frame, lights, and 2 truckloads of ornamental grasses and corn husks. A series of Halloween festivities free to all participants will be scheduled throughout each day including Shire-wide Trick-or-Treating, children's costume parades, pumpkin cookie decorating, mask making, bobbin' for apples, adult costume contest and more.
To sweeten this treat even more, the Faire has several deep discounts now available. The adult one-day pass available on the Faire's website, www.PaRenFaire.com, has been reduced to the lowest admission price available of $24.95 now through the end of the season. In addition to receiving the lowest adult price, the service fee for these tickets will be waived and the purchaser will receive a coupon valid for several items to enjoy during their visit. During the three Halloween Daze & Spooky Knights weekends of October 17-18, 24-25 and October 31-November 1, children ages 2 to 11 who come in costume with a full-paying adult purchasing his or her ticket at the gate will be admitted free of charge.
The wondrous fantasy of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire unfolds between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Games, rides, foods, beverages and crafts are additional. Parking is free. Visit www.PaRenFaire.com for more information regarding the Faire and special savings discounts. Information is available through the Faire Box Office by calling (717) 665-7021 as well.
The Faire is located on Rt. 72, ½ mile south of PA Turnpike Exit 266, 15 miles north of Lancaster and 14 miles east of Hershey.
