Hotel Vitale Offers “Town & Country” Package

Combines the Best of San Francisco and the Sonoma Wine Country; Option for Big Sur

SAN FRANCISCO (November 6, 2009) – Hotel Vitale, working with Viviani Destination Management wine country tours, is offering a one of a kind Town & Country travel package that combines the urban vibrancy of San Francisco with the rustic charms of the Sonoma wine region, along with the option to experience the breathtaking Monterey coast.  

The Five-Night Town & Country package begins with transportation from the San Francisco International Airport and includes two nights in a luxury Waterfront Room at Hotel Vitale with breakfast at Americano Restaurant, and a guided bike excursion across the Golden Gate Bridge with lunch in the idyllic town of Sausalito. 

Guests are then transported to the historic Gaige House in Sonoma, spending three nights in a luxurious Asian inspired studio suite.  Guests will be welcomed with California sparkling wine upon arrival and a daily Continental breakfast is included.  While at Gaige House guests will experience a day-long wine tasting tour throughout Sonoma Valley.  The tour will be customized to guests’ wine preferences and knowledge and will include a picnic luncheon.  The final day in Sonoma will begin with an early-morning hot air balloon flight over wine country followed by a champagne brunch.

The Seven-Night Town & Country package offers the same elements as the five-day package with the addition of two nights in the Ventana Inn & Spa, a magnificent Big Sur resort set on a hillside overlooking the dramatic Pacific coastline.  Guests can venture into the nearby seaside hamlet of Carmel-by-the-Sea or just spend the day luxuriating poolside, soak in Japanese hot baths, or just relax in a private hammock.  Other amenities include daily complimentary breakfast and an evening wine and cheese reception.
