CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH—Blossom Music Center will brighten the holiday season with a spectacular
drive-through festival of twinkling lights! The 2nd annual Blossom Holiday
Lighting Festival presented by Marc’s and sponsored by Akron Children’s
Hospital will be open seven days a week November 15, 2007 through January 6,
2008 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
View the festive lights and the
picturesque Blossom scenery in the comfort and safety of your toasty warm
vehicle! Enjoy a leisurely two-mile drive through a joyously lit
winter wonderland made up of two million
lights and more than 300
professionally installed displays.
Blossom Music Center once again teamed up with Indiana-based Winterland,
Inc., a national
leader in holiday lighting displays, to design the brilliant
event.
From
mid-November to well into the New Year, the wooded acres of Blossom come alive
with beautiful colors and blinking lights. The
outdoor illuminated scenes include popular cartoon
characters, pop culture icons and animated holiday themes all aglow.
The
tallest display reaches a height of 45 feet and the longest will extend more
than 200 feet. Three popular attractions, “The 12 Days of Christmas,” “Snowflake
Archway” and “Tunnel of Lights” will return once again to dazzle visitors.
In its inaugural year, the Blossom Holiday Lighting
Festival entertained more than 100,000 holiday revelers, with more than 30,000
vehicles visiting the snow covered outdoor music
venue.
“The
first year was such a success and we hope families will continue to make the
Blossom Holiday Lighting Festival a part of their holiday traditions,”
said
Blossom General Manager Mark Girton.
“We work extremely hard to create a high-quality family event that the
community can be proud of. In fact,
the installation process starts in mid-October so
Blossom can be transformed into a fantasyland for all ages for enjoy.”

Let there be light! The bright glow of colorful holiday
lights will fill the dark winter sky when Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don L. Robart,
along with special guests from Akron Children’s Hospital, flips the switch to
officially kick-off the 2nd annual Blossom Holiday Lighting Festival.
On November 15, all Cuyahoga Falls
residents are invited to attend the ceremony and enjoy the Festival for FREE.
Cuyahoga Falls residents simply show their issued CFONE card at the entrance
gate. Be among the first to view all the lights and holiday splendor with your
family and neighbors!

Celebrate the Holiday Lights with Trans-Siberian
Orchestra
Trans-Siberian Orchestra
(TSO) is a
holiday tradition in Northeast Ohio and to further celebrate the season, TSO
delivers its rock opera styled holiday music as a part of the spectacular
Blossom Holiday Lighting Festival.
This year, Festival guests can tune into TSO
RADIO inside their car to enjoy the
sounds of the iconic band while driving through the giant light show.
