A Spectacular Celebration of Lights!

11-23-2007

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH—Blossom Music Center will brighten the holiday season with a spectacular drive-through festival of twinkling lights!  The 2nd annual Blossom Holiday Lighting Festival presented by Marc’s and sponsored by Akron Children’s Hospital will be open seven days a week November 15, 2007 through January 6, 2008 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

View the festive lights and the picturesque Blossom scenery in the comfort and safety of your toasty warm vehicle!  Enjoy a leisurely two-mile drive through a joyously lit winter wonderland made up of two million lights and more than 300 professionally installed displays.  Blossom Music Center once again teamed up with Indiana-based Winterland, Inc., a national leader in holiday lighting displays, to design the brilliant event.

From mid-November to well into the New Year, the wooded acres of Blossom come alive with beautiful colors and blinking lights. The outdoor illuminated scenes include popular cartoon characters, pop culture icons and animated holiday themes all aglow. The tallest display reaches a height of 45 feet and the longest will extend more than 200 feet. Three popular attractions, “The 12 Days of Christmas,” “Snowflake Archway” and “Tunnel of Lights” will return once again to dazzle visitors.

In its inaugural year, the Blossom Holiday Lighting Festival entertained more than 100,000 holiday revelers, with more than 30,000 vehicles visiting the snow covered outdoor music venue.

“The first year was such a success and we hope families will continue to make the Blossom Holiday Lighting Festival a part of their holiday traditions,” said Blossom General Manager Mark Girton.  “We work extremely hard to create a high-quality family event that the community can be proud of.  In fact, the installation process starts in mid-October so Blossom can be transformed into a fantasyland for all ages for enjoy.”
