Freak waves of nearly 30 feet high cause the death of two cruise passengers in Marseilles

It was a first in the port of Marseilles, France and may it be the last. Two passengers plunged to their deaths and others were hurt, when tsunami-like waves plowed into the bow of a Mediterranean cruise ship Tuesday.

American Airline and military officials reported that two Royal Air Force fighter jets were dispatched for a flight bound for Heathrow International Airport Tuesday. This action was provoked by a female passenger who was trying break into the cockpit.

For the same reason people go to a car race (to see a fiery crash) or a hockey game (bare-knuckled fight) Shamu Stadium was packed to the gills for the 12:30 p.m. show Sunday, on Shamu’s second day on the job after the unfortunate incident in which he killed his trainer. Everyone wanted to see if something would happen. ... Nothing happened.

One advantage to the new system is that almost all airfares are upgradeable and travelers don't have to play the buy-an-upgradeable-ticket game and then be stuck back in coach anyway.
