Conde Nast Traveler Names the Whiteface Lodge Among Top 240 Spas in the US, Central America & The Caribbean
LAKE PLACID, NY (May 3, 2010) - The Whiteface Lodge's 5800-square-foot spa has been named a top spa on Conde Nast Traveler's 2010 "Top 240 Spa" poll, which evaluated overall spa treatments in North America, Hawaii, Central America and the Caribbean. The Lodge was ranked number 95 among the "Top Resort Spas" in the April 2010 issue of Conde Nast Traveler.
The Whiteface Lodge's expansive spa is a favorite retreat for families, couples, groups of friends and anyone seeking an authentic and one-of-a-kind Adirondack-themed pampering experience. The Lodge recently named a new Spa Director who is charged with gently incorporating new services and treatments tailored to reflect the spirit of activities that guests enjoy while visiting the Adirondacks. A new menu of the Lodge's Spa treatments will be announced in early fall.
"We are honored that The Whiteface Lodge's Spa received such a prestigious accolade from Conde Nast Traveler. We're also excited about centralizing the focus of the Spa's offerings around an authentic Adirondack experience," said Phil Anderson, General Manager of The Whiteface Lodge.
