Naples Bay Resort, Member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, is Naples’ Newest Four Diamond Property
Only Naples-area Resort Surrounding a Marina with Access to Bay and Gulf!
Naples, Florida, May 2010 … Naples Bay Resort is Naples newest and most luxurious Four Diamond property. The resort, which is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the ultimate luxury collection of more than 185 exceptional hotels and resorts in the most desirable locations around the world, is Naples only property with a marina, which the resort gracefully envelops, lending the feeling of a relaxed Italian seaside village. The Marina at Naples Bay Resort features 97 slips and direct water access to Naples Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
Open just two years ago and already the recipient of Four Diamonds from AAA, the resort’s color palette suggests the unique hues of Tuscany, as does the elegant architecture, which would be as ideal on the Italian peninsula as it is on Naples Bay in Florida.
The Italian theme continues inside with exquisite tile flooring, marble-like encaustic plaster wall finishes and distinctive lighting fixtures, including a dramatic lobby chandelier suggesting the work of respected artist, Dale Chihuly, who is well represented in Naples renowned Philharmonic Center for the Arts.
The 193-key destination resort features an 85-key hotel with 65 suites and 20 superior rooms as well as 108 spacious resort cottages. Thirty townhomes and flats round out the residential mix at the property. The resort’s award-winning Italian restaurant & bar, Olio on the Bay, serves superb cuisine and features dramatic views of the bay and marina. Over 3100 square feet of function space provides the ideal setting for important social and corporate events.
The exceptional interior finishes are extended to the resort’s guest accommodations, with well-equipped granite kitchens, spacious living rooms, and exceptional-quality bedrooms and baths. Whether guests are staying for the night or a month, the accommodations at Naples Bay Resort comfortably meet the needs of every person.
Outside, guests can select from a choice of five uniquely different pools within a masterfully designed, foliage-laden resort pool complex, including a meandering lazy river pool, lap pool, children’s pool, expansive sundeck and poolside cabanas.
The resort offers comprehensive fitness facilities with Technogym equipment, The Spa, an aerobics and Pilates studio, the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center with six lighted Har-Tru courts, as well as access to some of the nation’s best golf at a myriad of private and public courses nearby.
Adding to the resort experience is a retail promenade, located adjacent to the marina. Featured in this space are boutique specialty retail, entertainment and casual dining opportunities.
The resort also offers The Yacht Club and Captain's Lounge. The Marina at Naples Bay Resort offers half and full day boat rentals, as well as slip rentals.
As a destination, Naples is unsurpassed.
The traditional “gateway to the storied Florida Everglades,” the resort is just 30 minutes from a variety of Everglade excursions.
Closer to the property is exceptional shopping on Fifth Avenue South in Naples, the Naples Botanical Gardens, the nationally-accredited Naples Zoo, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and the famed Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, site of the annual blooming of the elusive ghost orchid.
Next door to the resort is the unique Tin City, a souvenir, shopping and casual dining experience within the site of an early 20th century fish cannery. The resort provides guests complimentary transportation to multiple Naples-area locations.
