Throughout the years, Sr. Gallegos has created extraordinary and diverse projects located throughout Latin America and his dedication to innovation and perfection has secured him a place as an unparalleled leader in the tourist and real estate industry.  Prior to founding La Tranquila Resorts, Sr. Gallegos earned his over 20 years of experience in a variety of engineering, construction and design endeavors.
 
He began his career in the government sector, moving into the Construction and Real Estate Manager position with Grupo Vidafel. Proving his extraordinary talent, versatility and leadership skills, Sr. Gallegos was appointed CEO in 1998 taking this opportunity to transform the company into the highly successful Grupo Mayan Resorts. Sr. Gallegos transformed the image of the company and worked to expand their offerings from 1,200 to 4,000 rooms and three time share properties to 11 high end resort properties all located within Mexico's most important tourism destinations.
 
During his time at Grupo Mayan Resorts, Sr. Gallegos additionally constructed his own innovative luxury real estate projects with his two upstart companies: GuGa Design Center, an exceptional Latin American design firm and Jegal Project and Construction Management. After leaving Grupo Mayan Resorts in 2006, Sr. Gallegos grew his two ventures into leading companies with focus on the design, construction and management of hotels, resorts and commercial properties.
 
La Tranquila All Suites & Beach Resort, Punta de Mita-Litibú is located within the heart of the first major resort destination creation project in 20 years. FONATUR, the government tourist development agency, has set its sites on the coast of Nayarit with the focus of the first phase of the project to be Litibú.
