Solmar Hotels & Resorts Tests Followers Knowledge With "Twitter Trivia"

Los Cabos, Mexico (May 25, 2010) - Solmar Hotels & Resorts announced today the launch of a new social media contest set to begin on June 7. "Twitter Trivia" will offer followers of Solmar Hotels & Resorts' Twitter account the chance to win a grand prize package including three-nights in a Junior Suite at Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa, daily breakfast for two, roundtrip airport transportation and a 25% discount on additional nights. The contest will be featured on Solmar's Facebook and Twitter pages but only those following the resort on Twitter will be eligible to win.

Each day, two trivia questions will be posted - once in the morning and once in the afternoon - on Solmar's Twitter page. The questions will be specific to the collection of Solmar properties or the destination of Los Cabos. Followers are encouraged to answer the "Twitter Trivia" question by replying to @SolmarResorts with the answer. The first three followers that answer each question correctly will be announced via Twitter and will be entered into a sweepstakes to win the grand prize package.
 
A total of six winners will be announced each day, three from the morning and three from the afternoon. Followers can find the answers to the trivia questions either on the Solmar Hotels & Resorts website or by researching the question on a search engine such as Google. "Twitter Trivia" will run for one month with the grand prize winner, selected at random from the pool of initial winners, announced on July 6.
