PARK CITY, UTAH - (August 2, 2010) - Montage Deer Valley, opening December 2010 in the year-round community of Park City, Utah, promises to be one of North America's finest mountain resort destinations. With true ski-in, ski-out access to America's #1 ski resort (as rated by readers of SKI Magazine 2008-2010), this refined mountain craftsman resort features 154 deluxe guestrooms and more than 66 suites and private residences ranging from one to four bedrooms. The resort is also located in one of the country's most accessible mountain locations, just five minutes from Park City's celebrated Main Street and only 36 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

Comfortable residential-style luxury
Reminiscent of great mountain lodges of the West, the resort makes the most of its coveted location atop Empire Pass with soaring great room spaces, welcoming outdoor decks and terraces with panoramic views of majestic Wasatch Mountains and aspen groves as the perfect venues to enjoy the mountain lifestyle. 

Montage Deer Valley accommodations will all feature fireplaces, estate-quality furnishings, local artwork, signature Montage bedding and linens, walk-in closets, five fixture stone baths with separate glass-wall showers and radiant heat floors, soaking tubs, private balconies or terraces, and expansive windows to bring the outdoors in, from $845 per night.

Expansive dining options will include Apex, a showcase for American mountain farm to table fare; Vista Lounge & Terrace for classic bistro choices paired with hand crafted cocktails and an extensive wine menu; Daly's Pub & Rec, a gourmet gastro-pub complete with open kitchen and engaging entertainment areas, including four regulation bowling lanes, English darts, billiards and nostalgic arcade games; Buzz, for gourmet coffee and to-go items, and 24-hour in-room dining. 

Myriad lifestyle pursuits
Every season ushers in a wealth of outdoor recreation, from downhill and cross-country skiing, sledding, snow shoeing, ice skating and horse-drawn sleigh rides to hiking, mountain biking, horse back riding, golf, fly-fishing, kayaking and river rafting. The resort will arrange a variety of unique experiences for guests and residents of all ages, including nature photography sessions with area experts, guided hikes and mountain bike treks, species spotting with a naturalist, fly fishing instruction, gourmet picnics and more.

Throughout the winter, Montage Mountain Hosts will receive, store and prepare all ski equipment, warm boots, and arrange lift tickets and lessons, including private lessons from Deer Valley Resort, to ensure a carefree experience. Just step into your boots, click and ski, heading out to one of three adjacent high speed lifts to access thousands of acres of terrain. Come spring, the Hosts will maintain mountain bikes and fly fishing gear and give you insiders' tips to make the most of your day. 

For ages 5-12, the resort's inclusive children's club, Paintbox, will offer daily mountain-style adventures, including a junior mountaineer program.

The alpine-inspired 35,000-square-foot Spa Montage is designed to be a year-round oasis, featuring a private outdoor sundeck, indoor lap pool with co-ed relaxation area, 29 treatment rooms, including two couples' suites, and separate club-style men's and women's relaxation areas and locker rooms, each with steam room, sauna, whirlpools and deluge showers. A fitness center and movement and yoga studio will offer daily classes as well as private sessions. 

The resort will also offer several one-of-a-kind retail shops, including a spa boutique. In addition, there will be complimentary transportation to Park City's Main Street, with its all-season shopping, dining, cultural events and festivals.
