La Samanna is offering the unique opportunity to rent out its award-winning wine cellar for a private New Year’s Eve dinner for up to ten guests. Enjoy a gourmet feast in this distinctive space, which reopened in early December after being extended in size to accommodate the 900- labels-and-growing collection.
The gourmet, seven-course New Year’s Eve dinner is accompanied by wine pairings selected by Wine Director Thibaut Asso, who will be on hand throughout the evening. The wines being served are Deutz rose, Ermitage de l’Orée M. Chapoutier 1996, William Seylem chardonnay 2005, Orneillaia 2003, Petrus 1983, and Pol Roger cuvée Sir Winston Churchill 1996.
The menu has been created especially by Executive Chef Daniel Echasseriau, and features such dishes as roast squab breast with open foie gras ravioli, and potato and onion croustillant and langoustine and smoked duck on rosemary stalk, lentil du Puy salad, onion compote cooked in red wine, and pissala sauce.
